Turning Point Nov Update
These updates feel strangely regular, but here we are to once again spell out our “game plan” to keep going as best we can. Most obviously, the Taproom will not be open this weekend or any other in November. We’re genuinely gutted about this. Since July, we’ve enjoyed sharing the brewery space with so many of you and feel like we had something worthwhile and fulfilling going on. It will be back, of course. All in good time.
Our hearts once again go out to all those in the hospitality industry. It’s been such a tough, stop-start year, but we’ve seen no shortage of dedication to find a way through this, and are proud to be part of such a resilient group of individuals and businesses.
In March, when 90% of our customers closed almost overnight, we adapted and found a way to keep going. We go into “round 2” not quite recovered from the first round, but no less determined to keep our beer finding its way to as many corners of the country as possible. Fingers crossed these new measures will end when planned, and we can get back to our day jobs!
So... What are we doing?
We’re focussing on the only things we can; selling our cans and mini-kegs through our online shop, and supplying other online retailers and bottle shops, whilst trying to keep putting something positive out online. We’ll be opening the brewery Mon-Fri 9am-5pm for walk in can sales/collections (card only), effective immediately.
No matter where you are in the country, with a £30 spend, we can ship your beer with zero shipping costs. This will mean you get your beers even faster than in the first lockdown, with no change in costs to you.
Our webshop is currently stocked with a splendid selection of great beers that we’re incredibly proud of; from our first real foray into the world of Australian hops, to stouts, sours, session beers, Pilsner, and of course… Disco King! We’ve got you covered.
We’ll be using some of the time in November to bring you some fun online content. We hope you’ll all join us in re-opening Zoom, and joining the party once again. We’ve also been busy behind the scenes putting some Christmas gift packs together. More on that as it unfolds!
I speak for the whole team when I say we truly appreciate all the support we have had this year. We appreciate all the orders, comments, shares, likes, reviews, recommendations, and so much more. Keep doing what you’re doing. It’s keeping us going, I assure you! We’ll continue to be active on here, hopefully spreading some fun and a laugh in these trying times. We wish you all well, be good to each other, drink great beer, and we’ll see you on the other side.
