Driver & Brewery Operative Job (Full Time)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated individual to deliver our beer from our award-winning independent brewery in Knaresborough, Yorkshire. When not out on the road, you will support the operation of the brewery by assisting our brewhouse team in the brewing, packaging and warehousing process.

We’re looking for someone who is self-motivated, reliable and takes pride in their work. This is a physical, hands-on job and involves lifting and carrying so applicants must be fit and capable of physical work.

The key responsibilities for the role will include:

• Timely delivery of beer to customers

• Loading and unloading of van, including assignment of stock

• Following delivery schedules and routes efficiently

• Maintenance of accurate records of deliveries, stock and vehicle inspections.

• Operating brewery equipment and machinery

• Working to a high standard of hygiene to maintaining cleanliness in the brewery

• Organisation and stock management

Skills and attributes:

• Full, clean driving licence. Proven experience of driving vans preferred.

• Safe and responsible driver

• Manual handling and lifting

• IT literate (you will be using Brewery software - training provided)

• Forklift truck experience preferred

• Good organisational and time management skills

• Friendly, personable and good communicator

Full time position (40 hrs/week Mon-Fri) with a salary of £26-28k per annum depending on experience. Plus:

28 days annual leave plus bank holidays and additional Christmas allowance.
